Welcome to the website of the Allegri Ensemble, a chamber choir based in Hobart, Tasmania.
Allegri Ensemble comprises a tightly-knit group of Hobart's finest choral singers drawn from many local choirs, some of whom are soloists in their own right.
The choir was established by Andrew Bainbridge, beginning with sell-out performances of Messiah in 2010 and 2011. Currently under the direction of Jonathan Wallis, the Allegri Ensemble continues to go from strength to strength, performing numerous concerts each year with repertoire spanning from the Medieval period to the modern day.
